HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
This position will support the Manager of Planning and Analysis in developing advanced analyses for the organization that provide critical information to senior management supporting informed strategic and operating decision making and to facilitate communications with the Board of Directors and external constituencies. Other analysis in support of key company initiatives and departmental leaders on an ad hoc basis is also required. This position will interface directly with various levels of business personnel throughout the organization and may represent the department in key presentations and/or strategic planning meetings. This position will, on occasion, fill in as the Manager of Planning.
THE DETAILS
Drive Financial Insights: Lead financial reporting, analysis, and cost modeling to equip leadership with data-driven insights that improve decision-making and performance.
Lead Planning & Forecasting: Champion annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and cash flow projections, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and process improvements across global operations.
Guide Strategic Investments: Evaluate capital projects, support investor relations, and step into leadership roles as needed to keep projects moving and teams aligned.
Communicate with Impact: Deliver clear, timely financial reports and presentations to senior executives and the Board, translating complex data into actionable business strategies.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Proven Finance Expertise: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or MBA preferred) with 5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, ideally in manufacturing; public accounting background and foreign exchange exposure a plus.
Analytical & Strategic Thinker: Advanced knowledge of GAAP with the ability to dig into complex data, interpret results, and deliver actionable recommendations that drive business performance.
Technical Mastery: Highly skilled in Excel and SAP, leveraging advanced tools to streamline processes, enhance reporting, and support global financial operations.
Strong Communicator & Leader: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly, influence decision-makers, and lead projects with integrity, collaboration, and accountability.
AVAILABILITY
This role follows a hybrid schedule, with regular onsite presence on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
At Oregon Tool, we provide a reasonable, good-faith estimate of the compensation range for this role of $90,000.00 - $100,000.00. Final offers are based on various factors such as experience, skills, qualifications and internal equity. This range may vary based on geographic location where the position is filled, and most new hires are not typically hired at the top of the range.
