Working Team Leader for Reconfig/Best Connect

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Working Team Lead maintains the production schedule in assigned section by effectively guiding the workforce, interpreting section policies and procedures and utilizing company computer software and approved drawings.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Targets and focuses on the top three operational priorities of the company: Safety, Quality, and Productivity.

+ Understands and adheres to the FMH Conveyors, LLC Company Handbook.

+ Understands and adheres to Section Policies and Procedures.

+ Must have detailed knowledge of all production processes of assigned section.

+ Must have the ability to perform activities utilizing all machinery and equipment in assigned section.

+ Must have the ability to examine items produced to determine if items meet specifications.

+ Leads by example and works well with other team members.

+ Ensures proper cross training of associates within section is being accomplished.

+ Recommends measures to improve section production methods and effectiveness of section.

+ Work with each associate in the section to provide the opportunity for each step progression to be met. (cross training, etc.)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

+ Stand, walk, or be mobile for up to a 10-12-hour shift; ascend, squat, push and pull up to 100 lbs.; bend, twist and reach with hands and arms to feel objects, tools or controls, check and inspect product. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.

+ Factory shop floor
