Job Description
Work in a fast-paced environment assisting Quality Engineers by performing technical and administrative tasks, ensuring projects run smoothly and efficiently. Duties will be task oriented, performed with moderate oversight or prioritization by a higher authority, mildly sophisticated and unique in nature, and vary greatly in breadth and depth of content during day-to-day operations.
The Engineering, Science and Analysis (ESA) Strategic Capabilities Unit comprises the technical talent and organizational leadership that enables the successful delivery of high-impact discriminating technologies for our customers missions. What You ll Do:
+ Assist engineers with research, data collection, and analysis to support project development and implementation
+ Prepare and maintain technical deliverables and reports, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date.
+ Work closely with engineering teams to design, develop, test, and improve products and processes.
+ Participate in hardware failure inspections and investigation, providing hands-on support to engineers.
+ Review & approve First Article Inspection Reports per AS9102.
+ Assist in reviewing and redlining, drawings, specifications, and procedures for completeness and compliance to contract requirements.
+ Make continuous improvement suggestions, participate in projects in area of responsibility.
+ Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
+ Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
+ Perform other duties as necessary.
**On-Site Work Environment:** This position requires regular in-person engagement by working **on-site three or more days** each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required.
Working Conditions:
+ This is a part-time position - 15-25 hours per week.
+ Work is performed in an office, laboratory, production floor, or cleanroom, outdoors or remote research environment.
+ May occasionally work in production work centers where use of protective equipment and gear is required.
+ May access other facilities in various weather conditions.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
+ High School Diploma or equivalent.
+ Each higher-level related degree, i.e., Bachelor s or Master s, may substitute for two years of related experience. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $39219 - $62751
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
Temporary employees generally are not eligible for BAE Systems benefits, but can elect to participate in the 401(k) savings plan. Temporary employees working 20 hours per week are eligible for medical benefits, the employee assistance program, and business travel accident insurance.
