2026 Entry Level \- Engineer \(Environmental Control Systems and Ice Rain Protection Systems\)

JOB SUMMARY:

The Systems Engineer on the Environmental Control Systems \(ECS\) and Ice & Rain Protection Systems \(IPS\) team will oversee and support the design and certification activity of aircraft components & systems through the creation of requirements and specifications, execution of certification and development tests, and resolution of issues on aircraft and test articles\.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop component/system descriptions, requirements, and specifications\.Coordinate and collaborate within the ECS/IPS team, and across Engineering functional areas, to support design and certification activity \- this includes, but is not limited to:

Creation and review of certification plans and reportsCreation and review of test plans and reportsCoordination and execution of required testing, both flight and groundCoordination with suppliers on the design and qualification of system componentsCreation and review of supporting analyses, both mechanical and thermalDefining ice shapes required for various flight test aircraft and test programs

Create and support Development Assurance and System Safety documents\.Coordinate across multiple departments, including Experimental, Flight Test, Project Design, Quality, and Supply Chain to meet company, department, and program objectives\.Support resolution of issues on Production line and Customer aircraft, as well as flight test aircraft and certification/development test articles\.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:

* Bachelor's degree required in:

* Aerospace Engineering

* Mechanical EngineeringoOther related field

* Less than 2 years of professional experience in a relevant role

QUALIFICATIONS:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills\.Ability to effectively manage multiple projects at once, while maintaining the ability to adapt to fluid program demands and objectives\.Proficiency with MS Office applications is preferred\.Familiarity with CFD and/or thermal analysis software is a plus, as is familiarity with CATIA & ENOVIA PLM applications\.Familiarity with 14 CFR Part 23 and Part 25 regulations is a plus\.
