    JOB SUMMARY:

    Internships within our Tooling Services team provide valuable hands\-on experience in tooling design, maintenance, and procurement within a dynamic manufacturing environment\. The intern will collaborate closely with the Sourcing team to identify and address inefficiencies in tooling\-related processes\. Additionally, the intern will assist in the procurement of tooling components, supporting a wide range of tool types and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the tooling supply chain\.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Support our Tool Sourcing team in the development and execution of strategic sourcing plans\. This includes analytical evaluation and strategic definition of tooling supply initiatives within the supplier base\.Collect and analyze data to identify opportunities for improving tooling performance, reliability, and cost\-effectiveness\.Monitor baseline supplier performance against defined metrics and support initiatives to drive continuous improvement and alignment with organizational goals\.Collaborate cross\-functionally with teams including Experimental Engineering, Process Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Finance, Tool Design, Tool Engineering, Tool Manufacturing, and Product Support to address strategic supply challenges and implement effective solutions\.Support the management of supplier performance by regularly reassessing quality and delivery benchmarks, identifying risks, and contributing to the selection and development of preferred suppliers\.

     

    Utilize appropriate tools and methodologies to support sourcing decisions, supplier evaluations, and process improvements\.

    Qualifications

    * Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in one of the following:

    + Business Administration

    + Business Management

    + Supply Chain Management

    + Mechanical Engineering

    + Manufacturing Technology

    * \- Minor in Computer Science a plus **QUALIFICATIONS:**

     

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong work ethic Good analytics and problem\-solving skills Mechanical aptitude Excellent organizational skills Computer proficiency\.
