**Schedule:** Full-Time

**Shift** : Days; Mon/Tues/Wed 5:30 AM-6 PM (may be flexible to a 6 AM- 6:30 PM shift)

**Location:** 2525 S DOWNING ST, Denver, 80210; Porter Hospital

The role you'll contribute:

Responsible for supporting the department flow and preparedness within the Surgery team. This position secures Physician Preference Cards for all scheduled surgical cases. Additionally, this role retrieves and organizes all necessary supplies and instruments for each case. In addition, this position communicates any concerns to the Coordinator and/or room staff. Additionally, this role works closely with Materials Management to maintain appropriate levels of supplies in the store room. Ensures the department is prepared for emergencies and unexpected surgeon needs to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

The value you'll bring to the team:

+ Supports the Operating Room staff with supply identification, ordering, and availability when needed.

+ Ensures all identified supply and instrument needs are placed on the appropriate case cart and ready for patient use according to the surgery schedule.

+ Works closely with Materials Management to ensure fiscal responsibility in the ordering of supplies.

+ Maintains necessary supplies to provide patient care without unnecessarily increasing inventory.

The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:

+ High School Grad or Equiv

Preferred qualifications:

+ Associate's degree
