    Job Description

    DMS International is seeking a Market Research Consultant to support an upcoming federal contract opportunity. The Consultant will lead and implement market research strategies to assess public interest, preferences, and engagement related to a museum. The role requires strong experience in qualitative and quantitative research, data analysis, and reporting for nonprofit and museum sectors. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with executive-level stakeholders and applying data-driven insights to strategic planning.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Monitor and forecast marketing trends, demographics, and audience preferences relevant to museums and nonprofit organizations

    + Design and execute data collection methods such as focus groups, surveys, interviews, and public opinion polls

    + Gather and analyze data on community interests, competitor offerings, and broader market conditions using statistical software

    + Convert complex data findings into clear and actionable tables, graphs, and written reports

    + Provide strategic recommendations based on market data to inform museum development and community engagement

    + Interpret and apply relevant government policies, regulations, and directives as directed by the client

    + Communicate findings and strategic insights effectively to executive-level personnel through oral briefings and written documentation

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor's degree in Market Research or a related field in Business, Communications, or Social Sciences

    + Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or 12 years with a Master's degree or higher in a related field

    + Demonstrated expertise in market research methodologies and tools

    + Strong experience with statistical analysis software and data visualization

    + Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to brief senior stakeholders

    + Experience conducting research within nonprofit or museum-focused contexts preferred

    + U.S. Citizenship required

    + · Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
