    Role Summary

    As the Digital Marketing Website Content Manager at Caterpillar, you will lead a dynamic team of content experts and authors, driving impactful development across our global ecosystem. Your leadership will be crucial in ensuring our sites deliver essential information to our dealers and customers worldwide. You will spearhead a high-performance team of digital marketing professionals, offering consultation and providing authoring support for Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) sites across the enterprise. Your team will uphold governance standards and empower content teams through education and training on best practices.

    What You Will Do:

    + Lead and develop a global team of content specialists for enterprise websites on the AEM platform.

    + Oversee the overall content implementation for CatDealer.com, ensuring the information maximizes site engagement.

    + Manage content execution for Cat.com, Caterpillar.com, and CatDealer.com, including leading the CatDealer.com content team.

    + Implement and manage a strategic content plan that aligns with business goals and targets the intended audience.

    + Optimize content to drive business growth.

    + Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and digital marketing best practices to ensure our content approach remains relevant and innovative.

    + Manage operational and project development budgets, aligning with strategic priorities.

    + Ensure content authoring and support align with SEO/AIO and analytic best practices.

    What You Will Have:

    **Customer Focus:** Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.

    **Creativity:** Knowledge of the approaches, tools, and techniques for promoting creative, original thinking and ability to apply it to a variety of business situations.

    **Effective Communications:** Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

     

    Relationship Management:** Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers **.

     

    **Technical Excellence:** Knowledge of a given technology and various application methods; ability to develop and provide solutions to significant technical challenges.

    **Strategic Thinking:** Knowledge of the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization.

    **Vendor/Supplier Management:** Knowledge of external provider management processes and ability to effectively manage the business relationship with external providers (e.g. vendors, service providers, contractors, consultants and suppliers).

    **Digital Marketing:** Knowledge of processes, techniques, and platforms of digital marketing; ability to implement or manage digital marketing programs.

    Considerations For Top Candidates:

    + Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Digital, or a related field.

    + Proven experience leading web content strategy and implementation in the B2B space.

    + Progressively complex marketing and digital experience.

    + Experience with CMS platforms, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) is a plus.

    + Proven track record of building cross-functional relationships and partnerships.

    + Understanding of basic business operations, technical infrastructure, and strong marketing acumen.

    + Ability to provide strategic direction for managing staff, budgets, business plans, and developing long-term plans.

    + Excellent verbal communication skills.

    + Growth mindset in approaching problems and new opportunities.

    + High degree of organization and meticulousness to ensure content accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines.

    + Familiarity with other key digital tools, such as the Adobe Creative Suite, for multimedia content creation.

    Summary Pay Range:

    $144,960.00 - $217,320.00

     

    Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
