**Chevron Pipeline and Power** is accepting online applications for the position of **Pipeline Operator** located in **Greeley, Colorado** through September 24th, 2025 at **11:59 p.m.** (MST).
Pipeline Operators are proficient in operating or measurement work processes required for the safe, accurate and efficient operation of assigned pipeline systems. They coordinate their own work and work with other team members or contractors in performing daily operations work processes.
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
+ Operate specific pipeline systems and/or facilities (i.e. monitoring pressures, temperatures and flow rates, and making appropriate operational changes).
+ Evaluate alarm conditions as they occur and determine the proper course of action to correct the alarm condition. Responsible for performing Operator Routine Duties. Gauge and sample tanks or witness and verify gauging performed by customers.
+ Monitor and coordinate commodity movements, commodity interfaces, gauging times and the launching and receiving of pigs and scrapers with system controllers and customer contacts at receipt and delivery points.
+ Make valve line-up and manifold changes. Monitor sample pots, adjust sample rates, draw samples and perform laboratory tests on samples.
+ Perform stock transfers between tanks, change orifice plates and blinds. Calculate line-fills, displacements and other volumes.
+ Investigate and resolve over/short situations and balance system inventories.
+ Perform tank gauging and grind outs on oil to check for quality.
+ Proficient in use of ticket management system.
+ Read and record custody meters or witness and verify readings taken by customers.
+ Prepare run tickets and associated paperwork to ensure accurate custody transfer of deliveries and receipts.
+ Maintain accurate custody transfer records and reports, including maintenance of appropriate security seals.
+ Schedule, coordinate and perform meter proving of custody transfer meters and control meters. Maintain meter factor trend data and perform and/or coordinate measurement equipment calibrations. Respond to inquiries regarding leaks, line locations and encroachments and take appropriate action to rectify
+ May lead sub-teams at the Field Team level.
+ Training of truck drivers in offloading procedures.
+ May coordinate the inspection, performance and documentation of facilities compliance checks, and track compliance checklists.
Required Qualifications:
+ High School Diploma or equivalent required.
+ Valid driver's license with a history of safe driving practices.
+ Minimum of 3 year of experience in oil & gas facility operations or related
+ Demonstrated knowledge of safe work practices.
+ Physical ability to perform routine maintenance will be required. Regular bending, lifting up to (25 Pounds) without assistance and approximately (100) pounds with assistance) crouching, pulling and kneeling to check equipment and gauges and perform repairs
+ Ability to work rotating shift to include holidays, weekends, and night shifts with on-call duties
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Knowledge of crude oil plant operations and machinery strongly preferred
+ Knowledge of safety protocols applicable to gas plant preferred. Good electrical and mechanical aptitude.
+ Thorough knowledge of PSM to include the MOC and PHA processes.
+ Basic knowledge in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.), and an aptitude for learning new software packages.
+ Communicates in a clear, concise, understandable manner, both orally and in writing. Listens carefully and asks questions.
Relocation Options:
Relocation **will not be considered** within Chevron parameters **.**

Expatriate assignments **will not be** considered.
