Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.
Responsibilities:
+ A high level of confidentiality and discretion is expected regarding all meetings, phone calls and show documents.
+ Primary role is to provide support to the Supervising Producer and Director providing them with meals throughout show weeks and car rides home from the studio.
+ Coordinate and set calls with other departments for Supervising Producer and Director.
+ Answer all calls for the Supervising Producer and take messages and notes when necessary.
+ Help organize scripts for the Supervising Producer and Director on Wednesdays for read through.
+ Keep log of when cast members will be on television appearances during show weeks.
+ Coordinate office needs for Producer and Director such as ordering office supplies, furniture, etc.
+ Other responsibilities, as assigned.
Basic Requirements:
+ Prior executive assistant experience in TV or features (preferably at a studio or network) supporting senior executives.
+ Minimum 1 year experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
+ It is expected to report to the work site in the off season, as needed.
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
+ Willingness to work overtime and be flexible with hours.
+ Must be willing to work in New York, NY.
+ Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.

+ Required On-Site: This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.

+ Hourly salary range: $17.50 - $20.00
+ This position is paid a weekly rate based on a typical work schedule of 60 hrs/wk. Hours over 37.5 hrs/wk will be paid at an overtime rate. In the event that you work more than the anticipated 60 hrs/wk, you will be paid additional overtime compensation as required by law.
