Summary:
Working in a Customer Focus Team (CFT) structure, the Manufacturing Engineer will provide hands-on production support. The Manufacturing Engineer must possess process knowledge of manufacturing practices.
Responsibilities
+ Provide day-to-day technical support for production teams.
+ Resolve production & process issues, as well as tooling & equipment malfunctions.
+ Collaborate cross functionally with design, test, quality, maintenance, and supply chain, to meet production goals.
+ Lead process validations (IQ/OQ/PQ).
+ Deploy Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
+ Lead root-cause analysis efforts and implement corrective actions for recurring issues.
+ Create and maintain accurate process documentation, including manufacturing work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and other technical reports.
+ Participate in design and process FMEA.
+ Train production staff on new and existing processes, equipment, and safety procedures to ensure a smooth workflow.
+ Adhere and contribute to the improvement of NEOTech’s ISO 13485 Quality System.
+ Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
+ 2 - 4 years engineering or related experience preferably in a Contract Manufacturing Environment.
+ PCB Assembly experience highly desired
+ Hands-on experience with SMT manufacturing including screen printing, pick/place, selective and wave soldering, flow oven, and soldering inspection.
+ High sense of urgency and attention to detail.
+ Understanding of DFM/A, FMEA and IPC requirements.
+ Ability to successfully participate in a team environment.
+ Ability to read blueprints, assembly drawings, customer Bills of Material.
