Overview

Motrex LLC is an exclusive service provider to Stryten Energy, a $1 billion leader in stored electrical energy solutions, including batteries and associated equipment and services for the transportation and industrial markets. We have over 2,500 employees working at manufacturing sites throughout the country.

Motrex's corporate headquarters is located just north of Atlanta in Alpharetta, GA. The internship will begin in May 2026 and end in August 2026, and will work a 40-hour week with expectations of being on-site each day, no remote work. This is a paid opportunity, but housing is not provided, so you must have both housing and transportation.

The Internal Audit Intern will help the Company accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluating and improving the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes. The intern will assist management and employees by furnishing them with analyses, recommendations, and information concerning the activities reviewed. You will support the Company’s assessment of its control environment through testing and analysis, and maintain all organizational and professional ethical standards. You will work under the guidance of audit management and will adhere to all Internal Audit standards.

Responsibilities

+ Performs basic audit procedures, including identifying and communicating issues, reviewing and analyzing data, and documenting findings to be reviewed with audit management.

+ Conducts interviews, reviews documents, and prepares working papers with the assistance of audit management.

+ Identifies, develops, and documents audit issues and recommendations using independent judgment concerning areas being reviewed.

+ Assist audit management in communicating the results of audits via written reports and oral presentations.

+ Develops and maintains productive staff relationships through individual contacts and group meetings.

+ Represents Internal Audit on organizational project teams and at management meetings.

+ Performs related work as assigned by audit management.

Qualifications

We are looking for students:

+ Progressing towards a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or an audit-related field

+ Graduating between December 2026 and May 2028

+ With a GPA of 3.0 or greater

+ You must have housing and transportation

+ The position is required to work on-site daily

During your internship, you will be exposed to the following areas:

+ Accounting and audit concepts

+ Collecting and analyzing data, evaluating information and systems, and drawing logical conclusions

+ Power BI

+ Tableau

+ Hyperion
