**Description:** You will be the Quality Engineer Associate for the Quality Engineering team\. Our team is responsible for applying quality principles to ensure product or process quality for make and/or buy products, driving excellence in design, production, and research and development\.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Quality Engineer Associate, you will be responsible for performing technical evaluations, collaborating with cross\-functional teams, and driving quality standards\. Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing technical evaluations of product requirements, specifications, and designs

• Collaborating with program management, engineering, and manufacturing teams to resolve quality\-related issues

• Developing strategies to improve internal and supplier performance, and conducting statistical analysis to assess product quality

• Designing and analyzing inspection and testing processes to ensure compliance with requirements

MUST BE A U\.S\. CITIZEN \- This position is located at a facility that requires special access\. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance\.

Basic Qualifications:

\-Bachelor's degree or higher in STEM

\-Must have the ability to obtain a security clearance

\-Ability to travel

\-Ability to work on\-site a minimum of 3 days per week

\-Able to interpret drawings and specifications to develop and apply quality test and inspection methods and able to translate into work instructions and / or PO notes\.

\-Knowledge Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance

\-Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc\.

\-Demonstrated presentation skills

Desired Skills:

\-Effective communication skills, i\.e\., written, oral, listening and technical writing

\-Effective interpersonal skills, including team building and collaboration

\-Engineering or Quality experience developing methods, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured and procured products

\-Demonstrated ability to use causal analysis tools to analyze and resolve technical / process issues varying from basic to very complex\.

\-Experience in disposition of non\-conforming products

\-Experience in establishing Performance Metrics for identifying process improvement

\-Knowledge of Configuration and Data Management

**Security Clearance Statement:** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration\.

**Ability to Work Remotely:** Part\-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility\. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process\.

**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.

**Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
