Responsibilities The Decision Science team helps our operating companies solve their most challenging problems and drives decisions with data. As a member, you will be at the center of data and analytical innovation and adoption. In the role of a Decision Science Analyst, you will drive value by leading teams to solve problems. You will be collaborating with our divisions to find thoughtful solutions that embed and promote advanced analytics, empower them to elevate and resolve issues and deliver training to further business process evolution. You will have access to the latest technology, tools and knowledge to ensure your success. KEY RESPONSIBLITIES Contribute to the projects of the applied analytics reporting team, including delivery of high-quality data, self-service, and machine learning and Generative AI solutions, aligning to the overall strategic objectives Clearly articulate data stories using data science, advanced statistical analysis, and visualization tools Collaborate with business partners to translate business problems or challenges into sustainable solutions that solve both short- and long-term goals Contribute to the design and implement data models to support reporting requirements Ability to execute portions of project plans, communication plans, change readiness assessments, road shows, and end-user training to ensure quality delivery of tasks on time Assist in effectively managing transitions, ensuring that business continuity is maintained throughout the change process and new workflows are effectively integrated with no business disruption Contribute to the continuous improvement, stability, and overall health of the data assets created by the applied analytics reporting team Analyze structured and unstructured data to uncover trends, patterns, and insights to translate into actionable recommendations Develop a deep understanding of business processes and technology solutions can improve them Support the data curation process by feeding the data catalog and knowledge base with key information Streamline the process of sourcing, organizing, and accelerating data for analysis Demonstrated the ability to effectively troubleshoot and resolve where data assets are breaking Be a problem finder to uncover opportunities for improvement in the business Proactively resolve production support issues ensuring data assets are accurate and timely Recommend and develop data quality testing to proactively identify and resolve data issues Grow data literacy across the Post Holdings organization to where decisions at all levels are guided by data and analytics Become an expert on new features (Generative AI, visualizations, etc.) within our tool stack (dbt, Tableau, Snowflake) and share your knowledge with others through our training channels Build Relationships with Data Analyst through Post Holdings organization to share data analysis and storytelling best practices Foster innovation by keeping abreast of emerging technologies and advance development of the team’s skill Learn new technologies and solutions to assist in execution proof of concepts for advancing analytics Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field/equivalent experience 3-4 years of relevant industry experience in business intelligence or reporting and analytics, Big 5 consulting experience preferred Demonstrated success in past reporting projects and data storytelling Project execution experience Solid grasp of data and analytics concepts and methodologies including data science, data engineering, and data storytelling 3 years of experience with BI reporting tools, experience in Tableau for 1 year is required Hands-on experience with data science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, data architecture or data storytelling Experience in developing, maintaining and managing Tableau driven dashboards & analytics and working knowledge of Tableau administration / architecture. Competency with SQL Exposure to ETL tools like dbt is a plus Knowledge on Data Warehousing concepts, Dimensional modeling and Business Intelligence design principles Agile project management exposure Innovative thinker who contributes their ideas with confidence across all audience levels Self-motivated individual who can identify issues/opportunities for improvement and be proactive in addressing them Demonstrates and wide degree of creativity and initiative in problem solving, as well as a drive to streamline / automate / improve and innovate Adaptable and skilled at managing multiple responsibilities in shifting priorities Demonstrates ownership and prioritization of tasks Intellectual curiosity, passion for problem-solving, a test-and-learn mentality and thrives in ambiguity Bring a sense of fun, passion and positive attitude to every day Communicate in a succinct, friendly manner that promotes directness and respect Voracious hunger for learning and desire to grow with the team Maturity and discipline to thrive and deliver results in a remote work environment Ability to travel 3-4 times a year
