Job Summary
The Senior Strategy Consultant is a critical, enterprise-facing role within Novant Health Enterprises (NHE), the growth, innovation, and commercial arm of Novant Health. Unlike internal consulting roles focused on performance improvement, this position is centered on external growth strategy, market expansion, and business development.
This role drives high-impact strategic initiatives, including partnership evaluations, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and innovative business models. It requires strong strategic thinking, advanced financial analysis, market research, and the ability to influence senior leaders on investment decisions that shape Novant Health’s future footprint.
The Senior Strategy Consultant operates as a thought partner to NHE leadership and Novant Health’s Senior Leadership, evaluating opportunities that span providers, payers, digital health, and emerging care models. The role is ideal for candidates who thrive in high-ambiguity, fast-paced environments with a deep curiosity about market dynamics and an interest in scaling new ventures.

Qualifications
+ Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. Graduate Degree, preferred.
+ Experience: Minimum two and a half years of experience in healthcare field or similar company / field. Demonstrated experience in finance, strategy, mergers and acquisitions, corporate development, consulting, analytics, and managing/facilitating complex teams/projects. Master’s Degree program counts towards experience, required.
+ Additional Skills (required):
+ Healthcare Industry Dynamics: Understanding of healthcare systems, payer-provider models, and trends.
+ Strategic Planning & Corporate Development: Familiarity with strategic frameworks and deal structures.
+ Financial Analysis: Proficiency in modeling, ROI analysis, and valuation methods.
+ Market Intelligence: Experience in market sizing, segmentation, and competitive analysis.
+ Business Case Development: Ability to synthesize data into recommendations.
