Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking interns to join our Electrical team in Lansing, MI for Summer 2026!

This posting is specifically for Electrical or Architectural Engineering students in the U.S. that will focus on internal building design work utilizing programs such as AutoCAD, Revit and AGi. We are looking for students who have a specific interest in Electrical Engineering fields. These professionals focus on the inner workings of buildings, including lighting and electrical wiring. Please note - we do not offer any R&D, manufacturing, product development, or electronics internships at this time.

+ Assist technical staff on day-to-day projects in their respective discipline.

+ Collaborate with technical and design staff to complete billable real-time client work.

+ Work alongside junior and senior level engineers to execute project deadlines.

+ Network with current Colliers Engineering & Design professionals and gain real-life experience in consulting.

+ Work across multiple disciplines with other interns and professional staff.

+ In addition to the work-centered program, we also offer robust internship programming, which includes opportunities to work with other interns, learn about other areas of the business, and develop valuable communication skills and networking connections.

+ Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in an Electrical or Architectural Engineering or related program from an accredited university or college physically located in the U.S.

+ Must be eligible to work in the U.S.

+ Prior experience with Revit, AutoCAD, or Building design is highly preferred.

+ Highly motivated and able to work in a fast paced environment.

+ Interest in building engineering, lighting design, or wiring.

+ Great communication skills is a plus.

+ Prior internship experience is a plus.

+ Ability to read, write, and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
