    Job Description

The New York City Department of Investigation (“DOI”) is one of the oldest law enforcement agencies in the country; its mission is to combat municipal corruption. DOI serves the people of New York City by acting as an independent and nonpartisan watchdog for New York City government, City agencies, and City employees, vendors with City contracts, individuals and entities that receive City funds.

DOI is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Training Coordinator to join our fast-paced Training Division. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is energized by challenge.

As a key member of the Training Division, the Training Coordinator will report to the Director of Training and will support the planning, coordination, and delivery of training programs for all DOI staff.

    Key Responsibilities:

    - Training Logistics Coordination: Manage scheduling, communication, materials, and space for training sessions across the agency.

    - Proofreading and Editing: Review training materials and communications for clarity, accuracy, and professionalism.

    - Program Development & Administration: Assist with the design, implementation, and tracking of training programs and initiatives.

    - Curriculum Development & Instruction: Collaborate on content creation and may occasionally facilitate internal training sessions.

    - Learning Management System (LMS) Support: Maintain records, troubleshoot user issues, and support data reporting.

    - Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners to support training efforts.

    - Field Training Support: Travel as needed throughout the Tri-State Area to support regional training sessions.

    - Administrative & Clerical Support: Provide general administrative assistance to ensure smooth training operations.

If selected, the candidate will be fingerprinted and undergo a background investigation. In addition, because the position has a law enforcement and/or investigative function, the candidate's consumer credit history will be reviewed during the background investigation, as permitted by NYC Administrative Code 8-107(24)(b)(2)(A).

    To Apply

All applicants, including current City Employees may apply by going to https://a127-jobs.nyc.gov and search for the specific Job ID # 734654.
