    Delivery Manager Lead

    Position Overview:

    CuraScript SD a wholesale pharmaceutical distributor that provides customized business solutions and access to

    specialty drugs to community physicians, specialty pharmacies, and health systems; it is a wholly owned subsidiary of

    Express Scripts, Inc. – a Cigna Company.

     

    We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Lead Delivery Manager to join our technology team. The lead

    Delivery Manager (DM) serves as a key collaborator focusing specifically on coordinating activities within the Delivery

    Domain Level of Coordination. In this role, the DM will facilitate the smooth execution of initiatives, ensuring alignment

     

    with strategic objectives and customer needs. The Lead DM will work closely with cross-functional teams, oversee the

     

    coordination and implementation of Lean Business Cases (LBCs). Lastly, the Lead DM will be responsible for

     

    defining/maintaining the DM practice in accordance with Enterprise Operating Model standards ensuring governance and

     

    best practices are followed inclusive of risk and issue management, interdependency management, and change control.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop/deploy a DM framework to effectively manage the IT project portfolio in accordance with the Enterprise

     

    Delivery Model.

     

    • Understand and articulate Business Value, Strategic Objectives, and Portfolio Strategy

    • Acts as a servant leader and ensures alignment with appropriate Enterprise Operating Model processes

    • Represents delivery and contributes to value decomposition and planning

    • Manage the delivery of Portfolio Epics

    • Ensures Portfolio Epics and Program Epics meet the Definition of Done (DoD) before the work is accepted

    • Engages with and provides support for deployments and releases as needed

    • Provide transparency into the entire portfolio of investments, and enable key decision makers to prioritize demand

    based on strategic objectives, risks, dependencies and potential team constraints

    • Lead planning activities that drive demand forecasts of projects, complexity, and delivery to determine capacity

    requirements for the PMO; collaborate with peers to provide a consolidated view for senior leadership

    • Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to ensure SLA’s are being met, schedule of

     

    upgrades/patches are known in advance, and ensure contractual value is being delivered

    Overall Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field

    • 8+ years of hands-on experience working in Delivery/Portfolio Management

    • 8+ years of hands on experience managing multi-tiered program budgets

    • Hands on experience with Jira/Kanban/Scrumban
