    About the Role:

    As a CBRE Learning and Development Specialist, you will assist with managing the development, implementation, and administration of programs to support company needs.

     

    This job is a part of the Talent, Learning & Development functional area which focuses on developing, implementing, and evaluating employee development plans and programs to support organizational needs.

    What You’ll Do:

    + Design, deliver, and manage learning initiatives that blend **compliance training, technical upskilling, and culture-building programs** , ensuring alignment with business objectives.

    + Leverage **SharePoint, Smartsheet, Office Suite, Canva, Adobe, and dashboard-building tools** (with Copilot integration where applicable) to create engaging, data-driven learning experiences and track program effectiveness.

    + Build trust and buy-in across diverse teams by **communicating the brand and value of L&D** , tailoring delivery to a wide range of learners, and fostering a culture of continuous learning.

    + Assist with the creation and management of training programs in three key areas; Learning Resources, Content and Curriculum Development, and Learning Platform Operations.

    + Partner with Director to establish performance objectives for staff and track that progress.

    + Identify subject matter experts to develop content and design education exercises.

    + Recommend appropriate delivery methods to optimize knowledge transfer.

    + Develop strong relationships with business partners, managers, consultants, and trainers.

    + Assess third-party training programs and audit trainers on their delivery skills.

    + Monitor course and training resource utilization to ensure that department needs are being met.

    + Remain up-to-date and savvy in learning industry trends, methodologies, and standards and know how to put those into standards.

    + Manage communication and marketing plans for new courses and training updates.

    + Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job subject area and broad knowledge of several job subject areas within the function.

    + Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.

    + Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams.

    + Work within broad guidelines and policies.

    + Explain difficult or sensitive information.

    What You’ll Need:

    Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

     

    Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.

     

    Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.

     

    In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

     

    Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive approach.

     

    Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

    CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The maximum salary for the Learning & Development Specialist position is $85,000 annually. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
