Our client, a leading utility company in the energy sector, is seeking a Sr. Project Cost Analyst to join their team. As a Sr. Project Cost Analyst, you will be part of the Project Management support team, overseeing project cost analysis, budget tracking, and process improvements. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
**Job Title:** Sr. Project Cost Analyst
What's the Job?
+ Coordinate project meetings and support project documentation updates.
+ Prepare forecasts of project spending, monitor budget variances, and perform cost analysis.
+ Collaborate with project teams to establish baseline budgets and perform variance reporting.
+ Assist in the contracting process and coordinate work orders with external vendors and contractors.
+ Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success and efficiency.
What's Needed?
+ Qualified Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Construction Management, Engineering, Technology, or Project Management.
+ Minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience in project cost management or related fields.
+ Proficiency in MS Office suite, especially Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
+ Experience with corporate accounting systems, project scheduling, and earned value management.
+ Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
