    Our client, a leading logistics and transportation organization, is seeking a Logistics Specialist to join their team. As a Logistics Specialist, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the logistics and dispatch team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, effective communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Logistics Specialist

    **Location:** Southfield, MI

    **Pay Range:** $20.00-$22.000

    **Shift:** Mon - Fri 7:00am - 3:30pm

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Provide logistics support including order entry, routing, and dispatching of loads

    + Coordinate traffic and monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries to ensure timely and condition-compliant arrivals

    + Maintain and update customer profiles and load information within the system

    + Communicate with drivers, customers, and account managers to resolve issues and provide updates

    + Investigate product overages, shortages, damages, and complete necessary documentation

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + At least 1 year of experience in logistics or transportation support

    + Basic knowledge of the transportation industry

    + Ability to write routine reports and correspondence effectively

    + Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

    + Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
