    Job Description:

    About the Role

The Education & Event Coordinator is a key project manager for nationwide logistics (order management, GWP production, retailer/vender relationships, trainings, and events). The role tracks orders, manages vendor and retailer communication, books travel, supports educational initiatives, and prepares decks and presentations. The ideal candidate combines strong organizational and Excel/MS Suite skills with an ability to handle large volumes and thrive under pressure. Beauty/retail experience is a plus, but candidates must be resourceful, collaborative, and comfortable in a complex, multifaceted role.

    Key Responsibilities

+ Project Management: Coordinate multiple initiatives—order processing, event planning, retailer shows, and product/GWP logistics for all brands

+ Order Fulfillment: Own product ordering, management, and fulfillment for all brands; manage nationwide gratis programs and event gifts, including pack outs as needed

+ Logistics & Event Planning: Manage all on-site/off-site event details (timelines, orders, RSVPs, logistics, travel booking)

+ Vendor/Retailer Coordination: Build/maintain relationships with suppliers, retailers, and cross-functional business partners

+ Data Management: Aggregate information for decks, presentations, and reporting by brand; support data collection and organization (SKUs, line items, product variants)

+ Financial/Admin Support: Track budgets, negotiate with vendors, manage POs/chargebacks, support cost containment for projects

+ Internal Communications: Cascade relevant updates to field teams, collect and respond to inquiries, and brief teams on programs and deadlines

+ Multi-Tasking: Support a large, dynamic workload, ensuring timelines are met and quality is maintained

+ Knowledge/Training: Assist in planning and communicating training initiatives and educational programs

    Qualifications

+ Experience: 3–4 years’ project coordination, event planning, or logistics in beauty, retail, or related fast-paced industry (0–3 years for junior version; beauty a major plus)

+ Technical Skills: Expert in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Suite; comfort with data aggregation, reporting, and presentations

+ Project/Logistics Management: Demonstrated ability to manage complex, high-volume projects, order management, and vendor/retail relationships

+ Detail Orientation: Highly organized, proactive, with strict regard for timelines

+ Communication: Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills; team-oriented, able to cascade and respond effectively

+ Growth-Oriented: Looking for candidates ready to “own” their function and take on increasing responsibility

Top Skills to Highlight in Interview

+ Project Management & Multi-Tasking: Examples coordinating events, logistics, product orders, or campaign rollouts across multiple brands or accounts.

+ Excel & Data Skills: Comfort aggregating, organizing, and reporting SKU/inventory/line item data (e.g., deck or reporting examples for field teams).

+ Logistics & Vendor Coordination: Demonstrated ability to manage nationwide shipments, POs, vendor/retail communications, and GWP/event fulfillment.

+ Fast-Paced Adaptability: Experience thriving in high-volume settings, juggling competing deadlines, and staying organized under pressure.

+ Communication & Interpersonal: Tactful, clear, and positive communicator with retailers, vendors, and cross-functional teams.

+ Beauty/Retail Exposure (if any): Any experience in beauty, fragrance, fashion, or retail, and genuine interest in those sectors—show passion and willingness to learn more.

+ Growth Mindset & Reliability: Appetite to grow with the company; examples of taking initiative, learning new skills, or improving processes.

+ Attention to Detail: Flawless execution (accuracy on line items, SKUs, tracking, budgets).
