Our client, a leader in the biopharmaceutical and life sciences industry, is seeking a Lab Technician to join their team. As a Lab Technician, you will be part of the Filtration Research and Development (R&D) Applications Group supporting innovative filtration product and technology projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Lab Technician

**Location:** Bedford, MA

**Duration:** 12+ Months contract

What's the Job?

+ Perform filtration applications testing and experiments in a laboratory setting

+ Collaborate closely with engineers and scientists to execute experiments and support R&D projects

+ Document experimental procedures and results accurately in electronic laboratory notebooks

+ Troubleshoot experimental issues and provide preliminary data analysis

+ Follow detailed protocols and develop experimental test procedures as needed

What's Needed?

+ Associates Degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Life Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field, or high school diploma/GED with 5+ years of laboratory experience

+ Experience working within a laboratory following protocols and documenting findings

+ Knowledge of biopharmaceutical separation processes such as filtration and tangential flow filtration

+ Understanding of health & safety procedures and ergonomic principles

+ Proficiency with electronic lab notebooks and Microsoft Office tools
