Our client, a leading organization in the recycling and waste management industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join their team as a **Sort Line Associate** . As a vital part of the operations team, you will support the efficient processing of recyclable materials, ensuring safety and cleanliness in the work environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical ability, effective communication skills, and a proactive attitude, which will help foster a collaborative and productive workplace.

**Job Title:** Sort Line Associate

**Location:** Alexandria, MN

**Pay Range:** $19.43/hr

**Shift:** Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM

What's the Job?

+ Remove objects from the waste stream conveyor belt to ensure proper sorting and processing

+ Perform cleaning and maintenance of recycling line equipment, including trommel, conveyor belts, and other machinery

+ Maintain cleanliness by sweeping floors, cleaning and picking station enclosures, locker rooms, and restrooms

+ Assist in operating the baler for aluminum, metal, and cardboard materials

+ Support other related tasks as needed to maintain efficient recycling operations

What's Needed?

+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ Must have strong technical abilities

+ Ability to identify various materials in the waste stream for proper removal and processing

+ Basic proficiency with hand tools

+ Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors

+ Willingness to perform custodial and equipment maintenance tasks

+ No prior experience required; training will be provided
