Duties Description ITS provides operational support to state agencies on a 24x7x365 basis; some positions may be required to provide this critical service at any time.Under the direction of the Manager of Information Technology Services 2 within the Public Safety Dedicated Agency, the position will manage the Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) - System Support Group. Duties include, but are not limited to: Oversee a team of System Support staff within the PS Dedicated Support team, which supports 120 systems, built on vendor provided software and are hosted within ITS Data Centers; Provide end to end technical oversight for systems supported by the team, using a wide variety of knowledge of Operating Systems, Database, Network, Communications, and Application Services; Ensure technical response for Public Safety Severity 1 systems on a 24x7x365 basis; Oversee project resource allocation / assignments to ensure project work is properly staffed with trained technicians. Assist with project prioritization and ensure projects are progressing as expected.Collaborate with software providers, architects, and business analysts, on the implementation of systems to meet business requirements, system performance, scalability and other critical quality measures; Mentor staff members, develop performance goals, and identify training and growth opportunities; Perform the full range of supervisory duties.

Minimum Qualifications Seven years of experience project management, project coordination or related field, including one year of supervisory experience. The following degrees may substitute for the general experience as indicated: • Associate’s degree and six years of experience• Associate’s degree including 15 semester credit hours in computer science and five years of experience• Bachelor’s degree and five years of experience• Bachelor’s degree including 15 semester credit hours in computer science and four years of experience• Master’s degree in computer science or related field substitutes for an additional year of experience• Doctorate in computer science or related field substitutes for an additional 2 years of experience

Additional Comments ITS will not offer permanent employment to any candidate unless the candidate provides documentation that they are authorized to accept work in the United States on a permanent basis.
