Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS)** has an exciting opportunity for **Associate Product Acceptance Specialists** to support the Space and Launch Program in **New Orleans, LA.

This position is for 2nd shift and may require some additional support on other shifts as needed according to business conditions

Position Responsibilities:

+ Verifies routine product conformance to design requirements.

+ Provides objective evidence of results.

+ Performs auditing, surveillance and monitoring.

+ Identifies and documents discrepancies. Segregates and controls non-conforming items.

+ Performs preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance.

+ Conducts product review with customer during product or process verification.

+ Identifies repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiates requests for corrective action.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in New Orleans, LA.

This position requires the ability to obtain a clearance for access to a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) facility.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. **“US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.**

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

+ Minimum of High School Diploma or GED

+ Experience in quality inspection and/or auditing

+ Experience reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications

+ Experience working with AS9100 and/or similar (QMS) Quality Management System standard

+ 3+ years of Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

+ Experience interpreting manufacturing blueprints

+ 1+ years of knowledge with technical experience in an aerospace environment

+ 3+ years of experience working in teams/work groups

+ Must have analytical, communication and problem solving skills

Relocation:

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility (Basic relocation is available for internal candidates, based on candidate eligibility.)

Summary pay range: $55,000 - $64,350
