We are seeking an **Environmental Project Manager (PM)** to join our team to support our **Manchester, NH office** **_._** This position requires a strong understanding of the state and federal environmental regulatory frameworks for New Hampshire including but not limited to: Env-Or 600 Contaminated Sites Management, Env-Or 700 Groundwater Release Detection Permits, Env-Or 800 Brownfields Program, and Env-Sw 900 Management of Certain Wastes.

Responsibilities:
+ Manage all aspects of due diligence assessment, environmental monitoring, and reporting activities with full responsibility for multiple projects for a diverse portfolio of commercial real estate, industrial, petroleum, and public sector clients.
+ Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with peers, junior staff, clients, and vendors to develop scopes of work, written proposals, and final deliverables.
+ Managing field and peer staff, subcontractors, client representatives, and other stakeholders to develop and meet project schedules and milestones, manage project financial performance, and bring projects to successful completion.
+ Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, and technical writing.
+ A sense of pride, ownership, and commitment to contributing to high-quality end results for our clients.
Qualifications:
+ B.S. degree in geology, environmental engineering, or a related discipline.
+ 5-15 years of experience in site investigation, conceptual model development, and remediation.
+ 2-6 years of project management experience.
+ Understanding of state and Federal environmental regulatory frameworks in New Hampshire (experience in other Northeast states is a plus).
+ Experience in ASTM/AAI transactional due diligence.
+ Understanding of NHDES Petroleum Reimbursement Fund processes.
+ Experience with proposal preparation.
+ Strong technical writing skills.
+ Demonstrated experience with site characterization, environmental sampling techniques, and methodologies (soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, soil vapor, indoor air, etc.), data analysis, remediation technologies, etc.
+ Experience managing staff, subcontractors, and client representatives.
+ PG or PE License (or on track to obtain) preferred.
Salary Range:
At Verdantas, we offer comprehensive benefits packages for our employees. Actual salary is based on the circumstances of each position and candidate, such as geographic location, skills, and certifications. We recognize and reward exceptional performance, striving to ensure fair compensation across all roles and departments within the company. The minimum salary for this position is $85,000 (negotiable based on the criteria presented above).
