Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Grant Administrator to manage the full lifecycle of sponsored research grants, with a primary focus on NIH and NSF-funded projects. This role will support faculty and research staff in both pre-award and post-award activities, ensuring compliance with institutional, federal, and sponsor guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:Pre-Award Administration:
+ Collaborate with Principal Investigators (PIs) to develop and submit competitive grant proposals, primarily to NIH and NSF.
+ Review funding opportunity announcements (FOAs) and ensure proposal components meet sponsor requirements.
+ Prepare budgets, budget justifications, biosketches, and other required documents.
+ Coordinate internal review and approval processes prior to submission.
+ Submit proposals via sponsor portals.
+ Other duties as assigned.
Post-Award Administration:
+ Manage award setup, including budget establishment and compliance review.
+ Monitor expenditures to ensure alignment with sponsor terms and institutional policies.
+ Prepare and submit progress reports, financial reports, and closeout documentation.
+ Assist with effort reporting, subaward monitoring, and cost transfers.
+ Serve as liaison between PIs, finance, and sponsor agencies.
+ Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree required.
+ Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in research administration, with strong knowledge of NIH and NSF policies.
+ Proficiency in electronic research administration systems.
+ Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $96000.00/yr.
Company will speak with candidate directly about health, dental, vision, 401k benefits.

This is a fully remote position.
