    Job Title: Project Architect

    Job Description

    This position is responsible for overseeing retail architecture projects from initiation to completion, with a primary focus on car dealerships. The role involves managing specific technical details and design aspects of assigned projects, including investigation, evaluation, and recommendation of architectural designs.

    Responsibilities

    + Participate as a member of the project team in all aspects of project scope, production, and implementation of construction documents.

    + Coordinate consultant scope and assist in managing client expectations.

    + Facilitate communication between the project team, sub-contractors, and other disciplines.

    + Ensure that the production of construction documents aligns with design intent.

    + Conduct code analyses and serve as the primary point of contact with jurisdictions.

    + Perform submittal reviews during construction and maintain RFI and submittal logs.

    + Supervise a small team of interior designers and technicians.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in Architecture and Revit.

    + 5-10 years of experience in an architecture background .

    + 5+ years of experience in commercial or retail architecture.

    + Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Documentation, or Design.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Registered Architect preferred.

    + Experience creating architectural drawings for commercial or retail spaces.

    Work Environment

    The work environment is exceptionally pleasant and located in a beautiful office space. The company offers a bonus program, 15 days of accrued PTO, and 10 paid holidays. They also provide support for exams to become a registered architect.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract position based out of Cleveland, Ohio.

     

    Length of contract is 4-6 months with possible full time employment.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $43.00/hr.
