Job Title: Sustainability Coordinator Job Description
Assist the sustainability manager with a product carbon footprint project, which involves entering data from the Bill of Materials (BOM) from SAP into data upload templates, confirming materials in BOM match upstream materials provided by the internal team, and organizing data for easy reference. Support the project for 4 sites, covering multiple products for each site, and manage data related to the product carbon footprint calculation for all SKUs.
Responsibilities
+ Assist with the product carbon footprint project.
+ Enter data from the Bill of Materials (BOM) from SAP into data upload templates.
+ Confirm materials in BOM match upstream materials provided by the internal team.
+ Organize data for easy reference.
+ Support projects across 4 sites, handling multiple products per site.
+ Transfer data related to the product carbon footprint calculation for all SKUs.
Essential Skills
+ Advanced MS Excel skills, including proficiency with formulas and pivot tables.
+ Attention to detail.
+ Bachelor's degree, preferably in Science, Environmental Studies, Sustainability, Engineering, Chemistry, or Biology.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with SAP is a plus.
+ Interest or experience in sustainability is advantageous.
Work Environment
This is a fully remote position with very flexible hours, allowing you to choose your own schedule. The role requires about 20 hours per week through March 2026, ideally working during core business hours (8-5), but there is flexibility. You will have daily check-in meetings with the manager but will work independently. The ideal candidate will be in the Central Time Zone, but flexibility is offered. You will work on an exciting project to help clients achieve carbon reduction targets, focusing on scope 3 sustainability.

This is a Contract position based out of Hoffman Estates, Illinois.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
