    Job Title: Director of Project Engineering

    Job Description

    We are seeking a talented and dynamic Director of Project Engineering who can lead and manage engineering projects with a focus on innovation and growth. This role is ideal for a seasoned project manager who aspires to advance into a director-level position. The successful candidate will be instrumental in managing and growing a highly diversified engineering department.

    Responsibilities

    + Lead and manage a team comprising of project managers and administrative staff, ensuring efficient project execution and delivery.

    + Oversee the preparation of RFPs, proposals, and submittals, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.

    + Collaborate closely with the general manager and receive support from the leadership team to organically grow the department.

    + Create and maintain strong client relationships and influence the sales team and market direction.

    + Manage project budgets, oversee customer interactions, and ensure alignment with the company's strategic goals.

    Essential Skills

    + Proven experience in people management and leadership within engineering or project management roles.

    + Solid understanding in engineering management, preferably in mechanical engineering.

    + Proficiency in Solidworks and other relevant engineering tools.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Experience in manufacturing, or construction industries is highly desirable.

    + A bachelor's degree in a science-related field is preferred but not mandatory for candidates with significant field experience.

    + Strong ability to manage teams, advocate for necessary changes, and push back when needed.

    + A positive attitude and historical capability of managing diverse project scopes in the automation space.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $175000.00/yr.
