    Job Title: Environmental Permitting Specialist

    Job Description

    As an Environmental Permitting Specialist, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support our client's large-scale environmental and construction permitting projects. Your role will involve conducting detailed project due diligence reviews, such as wetlands and Phase I/Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, and working with local, state, and federal regulators to identify permit requirements. You will also be responsible for coordinating internally and with clients to gather the necessary information to secure all assigned permits within construction timelines.

    Responsibilities

    + Conduct detailed project due diligence reviews, including wetlands and Phase I/Phase II Environmental Site Assessments.

    + Collaborate with local, state, and federal regulators to identify permit requirements.

    + Coordinate with clients and internal teams to gather necessary information for permit acquisition.

    + Ensure all assigned permits are obtained within construction timelines.

    + Manage documentation and excel data entry related to permitting processes.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, geology, geography, civil/environmental engineering, wildlife biology or a related field

    + 1-2 years of experience in a similar role

    + Excellent communication and presentation skills

    + Strong problem-solving skills

    + Experience with Autocad, GIS, and CAD software

    + ESRI ArcGIS Pro experience strongly preferred

    + Ability to work well with a multidisciplinary team

    Work Environment

    This role is primarily office-based, with 90% of the work conducted in the office and 10% in the field for inspections and data collection. The company offers a growth-oriented environment with a strong emphasis on culture and a family-based atmosphere. Team outings are organized once a quarter to foster team spirit.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
