We're hiring a Data Entry Specialist for a fast-paced healthcare administration company based in Oceanside, CA—and this is far more than just a typing job. This role goes beyond simple data entry. You'll be working with confidential patient records, insurance data, and healthcare compliance documents, directly impacting billing, operations, and the patient experience. • Daily Responsibilities:

+ Enter, update, and verify patient and insurance data into EMR systems

+ Review submitted records for accuracy, completeness, and compliance

+ Process claims-related data and billing submissions

+ Coordinate data retrieval and tracking with other departments (billing, clinical, and admin)

+ Maintain confidentiality with all HIPAA-protected information

+ Prepare reports and data summaries for internal audits or compliance reviews

Requirements

+ 2+ years of experience in data entry, medical records, or billing

+ Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration, Business, or related field (Required)

+ Familiarity with electronic medical records (Epic, Kareo, or similar)

+ Strong computer literacy and data processing skills

+ Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive attitude

+ Ability to work with sensitive information with absolute discretion
