Description We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team in New Orleans, Louisiana. This Contract-to-permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to revenue accounting and billing processes for software and product lines. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment and possess a proactive approach to improving systems and processes.

Responsibilities:

• Manage monthly client billing and revenue accounting tasks for the software product line.

• Record supplier invoices for both U.S. and international subsidiaries.

• Prepare and post month-end journal entries, including intercompany transactions and revenue accruals.

• Conduct meticulous balance sheet reconciliations and analyze financial data for accuracy.

• Review client and supplier contracts to ensure compliance with accounting standards.

• Collaborate with clients and suppliers to address inquiries and resolve issues.

• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements and support business objectives.

• Assist in preparing deliverables for external audits and documenting internal processes.

• Monitor adherence to internal controls, policies, and procedures.

• Support special projects and ad hoc financial reporting as required. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.

• At least 3 years of accounting experience with a focus on detail-oriented tasks.

• Proficiency in account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and general ledger maintenance.

• Strong skills in journal entries, month-end close processes, and revenue analysis.

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas.

• Excellent communication abilities and a commitment to high-quality customer service.

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Experience with enterprise accounting software, such as NetSuite and Salesforce, or ability to learn quickly.
