We are looking for a Construction Project Representative (Seasonal) Parttime, temporary within the Yakima, WA Area to perform inspection of work on Irrigation Projects. To ensure success in this role, you will apply your knowledge of engineering fundamentals and safety regulations to ensure the soundness of construction. You will have the ability to work independently and perform duties in the construction field office. To effectively make decisions concerning work in progress and solving field and office problems.

You will work under the direction of a Construction Manager, and will assume the following functional responsibilities:

* Perform quality assurance inspections to achieve compliance with contract plans and specifications.

* Perform quantity calculations and measurement for progress pay estimates and keep daily project records.

* Perform labor compliance interviews.

* Assist with preparation, analysis and review of contract change orders.

* Assist with the review of Critical Path Method (CPM) Schedule analysis.

* Assist with Water Pollution Control Program (SWPPP) enforcement.

* Promote and maintain a safe working environment

* Ability to communicate with the Construction Manager, Project Manager, field personnel, engineers, and the construction administration staff.

This position will be a seasonal assignment based in Washington - Yakima, WA area estimation will be 6-9 months. - Overtime Eligible - Per-diem* (meals & lodging provided as necessary): up to 7 days a week based on Government rates (tax free)

As a project-specific employee (Seasonal), you are not eligible for severance pay under the Company's Severance Pay Plan and will not be paid severance pay at the termination of your project employment, irrespective of any prior severance-eligible service.

* High School Diploma

* 10+ years of irrigation inspection and construction management experience on modernization construction projects.

* Must have a strong understanding and ability to read design drawings.

* Proficient in the use of computer application programs Word and Excel.

* Valid Washington Driver’s License and good driving history

* Knowledge of construction practices, physical characteristics and properties of drainage and utility systems construction materials, and the approved methods and equipment used in making physical tests of construction materials.

* Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

* Ability to walk construction site, including walking up and down slopes, climbing ladders, and walking on scaffolding and other temporary structures.

Ideally you will have:

* Certified Construction Management Certification (CCM)
