Description

Robert Half Management Resources is recruiting for a strong Procurement Manager to support our large financial services client in Los Angeles on a 6+ month hybrid engagement beginning immediately. The Procurement Manager will work with a small but growing team to primarily support the work deriving from a large-scale acquisition. In order to be successful in this role, you should have the following attributes:

Responsibilities:

• Manage procurement processes and policies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

• Review and negotiate contracts to meet business requirements and mitigate risks.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders across departments such as IT, Legal, and Finance.

• Collaborate with external vendors to ensure contract terms are fully understood and executed.

• Provide strategic guidance on purchasing decisions to optimize cost-effectiveness.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint to create detailed analyses and presentations.

• Lead negotiations to achieve favorable terms and conditions for the organization.

• Ensure compliance with global procurement standards and regulations.

• Support the team in addressing challenges related to acquisitions and integrations.

• Work closely with leadership to develop strategies that enhance procurement efficiency.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in corporate procurement or a related field.

• Demonstrated expertise in contract reviews and negotiations.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Icertis is a plus.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.

• Experience working in a large, global organization.

• Ability to manage and execute procurement functions effectively.

• Knowledge of procurement policies and best practices.

• Proven ability to collaborate across multiple business units and departments.
