Description We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to play a pivotal role in driving the financial strategies and performance of our organization. This position involves advanced financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, as well as providing actionable insights to support decision-making in a healthcare environment. By collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will help ensure the financial health and operational efficiency of our organization in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial planning and analysis activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

• Develop and deliver comprehensive financial reports to senior leadership on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

• Analyze financial data to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities for cost reduction and revenue growth.

• Support strategic projects such as capital investment evaluations, service line profitability studies, and reimbursement modeling.

• Partner with clinical and administrative teams to create detailed financial models and business cases.

• Ensure adherence to healthcare-specific financial regulations and compliance standards.

• Assist in preparing for audits and strengthening internal financial controls.

• Provide mentorship to entry-level financial analysts and contribute to process improvements within the finance team. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.

• A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, ideally within the healthcare industry.

• In-depth knowledge of healthcare finance, including reimbursement systems, cost accounting, and regulatory compliance.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus.

• Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey financial insights.

• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate with diverse teams.

• Familiarity with systems like Oracle, Workday, or similar platforms for financial management.
