    Job Title: Warehouse Lead

    Job Description

    The Warehouse Lead plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth daily operations. This role involves managing orders through the Epicor system, assisting with inventory tasks, and actively participating on the warehouse floor. The Warehouse Lead utilizes programs such as Excel and Teams to maintain organization and efficiency.

    Responsibilities

    + Handle all tasks typically performed by a warehouse associate.

    + Use Epicor to manage shipping and order fulfillment.

    + Assist with inventory counts and address any mismatches.

    + Ensure adherence to safety rules and company policies.

    + Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and enhance operational efficiency.

    + Organize both domestic and international shipments.

    + Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse and ensure equipment operates safely.

    + Adhere to ISO 9001 quality procedures to maintain high standards.

    Essential Skills

    + Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.

    + Proficiency in computer skills, especially with Epicor and Microsoft Office.

    + Ability to read and understand shipping documents and reports.

    + Excellent time management and multitasking capabilities.

    + Problem-solving skills, especially in challenging situations.

    + Effective communication skills with managers and customers.

    + Accurate inventory counting skills and ability to use digital scales.

    + Strict adherence to safety and environmental regulations.

    + Ability to read and write English clearly.

    + 2–3 years of warehouse experience, ideally with some leadership experience.

    + Valid California driver’s license.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Forklift certification is a plus or willingness to get certified.

    + Experience with SAP, inventory management, cycle counting, pick and pack, and pallet jack operations.

    Work Environment

     

    Work indoors with a close-knit team consisting of three other production assistants, one lead, and one supervisor. The role involves physical activities such as walking, standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and occasionally crouching or kneeling. Punctuality and daily attendance are essential.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of SANTA BARBARA, California.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
