    Job Title: Warehouse Associate

    Job Description

    As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in the safe transport of merchandise within the warehouse using hand pallet jacks. You will be responsible for sorting and distributing merchandise, creating pallets, stacking boxes, and accurately operating an RF scanner. The position requires efficiency in a fast-paced work environment while ensuring safety is a priority. Occasionally, overtime work may be required to meet business needs. This role involves some heavy lifting, adhering to a 50 pounds per person model and utilizing two-person lifts when necessary.

    Responsibilities

    + Safely transport merchandise to various areas within the warehouse using hand pallet jacks.

    + Sort and distribute merchandise, including creating pallets and stacking boxes.

    + Accurately operate an RF scanner.

    + Work efficiently in a fast-paced work environment.

    + Prioritize safety in all tasks.

    + Work occasional overtime as required by business needs.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in packing, wrapping, crating, and labeling.

    + Proficiency in operating RF scanners.

    + Material handling capabilities.

    + At least 6 months experience in shipping, receiving, and logistics.

    Work Environment

     

    You will work in a fast-paced and dynamic warehouse environment. The role requires organization, professionalism, and flexibility. Shifts are from Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, ensuring a balanced work-life schedule.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Long Island City, New York.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
