Machine Operator - Carol Stream

Overview

The Machine Operator is responsible for executing secondary functions in the fabrication department. This role involves operating a variety of machinery to perform basic tasks such as loading parts, running machines, off-loading parts, and checking quality. There are all shifts available and they offer Monday-Friday 10 hour schedules. Responsibilities

+ Load materials, run parts, and check quality to ensure standards are met.

+ Operate machinery to perform secondary functions in the fabrication department.

+ Conduct tasks including grinding, polishing, drilling holes, deburring, measuring, and basic assembly.

Skills

+ 1 year of machine operating experience.

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

+ Proficiency in measuring and interpreting blueprints.

+ Experience with general production and machine operation.

Work Environment

The facility is spacious and divided into assembly/warehouse, and fabrication areas. The environment is well-lit, clean, and temperature-controlled.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.83 - $19.83/hr.
