Job Title: Valve Assembly Technician

Job Description

Join our team as a Valve Assembly Technician, where you will be responsible for assembling valves used in various industries, including space exploration, automotive, and petroleum. This role requires attention to detail and precision to ensure the effective operation of valves for controlling the flow of water, gas, sugars, flours, and other products.

Responsibilities

+ Assemble valves for clients in industries such as space exploration, automotive, and petroleum.

+ Utilize hand tools and power tools to assemble components accurately.

+ Read and interpret blueprints to ensure precise assembly.

+ Maintain a clean and organized work area.

+ Collaborate with team members to ensure production goals are met.

Essential Skills

+ Minimum of 6 months of assembly experience.

+ At least 6 months of production experience.

+ Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Mechanical aptitude is preferred.

Work Environment

Work in a climate-controlled shop with a close-knit team of approximately 21 people. The facility operates Monday through Thursday from 6am to 4:30pm, with optional overtime on Fridays.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Emporia, Kansas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.
