Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Smokehouse Worker who is passionate about culinary arts and smoking techniques. Join our team to ensure the highest quality standards in our products and assist in the development of new recipes.
Responsibilities
+ Perform general labor tasks in the smokehouse.
+ Ensure the final product meets quality standards and food safety regulations.
+ Maintain precision in preparation and smoking processes.
+ Communicate effectively with team members and follow directions.
+ Conduct regular maintenance and cleaning of smoking equipment.
+ Support the development of new recipes and smoking techniques.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in inventory management.
+ Skill in material handling, packing, and packaging.
+ Familiarity with production processes.
+ Ability to perform general labor tasks.
+ Experience with unloading and loading.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Interest in culinary arts and smoking techniques.

Work Environment
This role is based in a warehouse setting characterized by a fast-paced and tight quarters environment. You will be working in extremely cold conditions, specifically in a freezer environment, handling salmon. Adaptability to such conditions is essential.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Santa Barbara, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
