    Job Title: Aircraft Structural Technician

    **Location:** Englewood, Colorado

    **Job Type:** Contract to Hire

    **Schedule:** Four-day work week (Monday–Thursday or Tuesday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)

    **Compensation & Benefits:** Includes six paid holidays, six days of PTO, full medical benefits, and on-site support

    Position Overview

    We are currently hiring experienced Aircraft Structural Technicians for three specialized roles: Structures Backshop, Commercial Hangar, and Government Hangar. These positions involve the repair, refurbishment, and fabrication of flight control surfaces and structural components, including elevators, ailerons, rudders, leading edge flaps, slats, spoilers, and stabilizers. Technicians will perform precision sheet metal work and contribute to the safe and efficient maintenance of various aircraft platforms.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Perform structural repairs, modifications, and maintenance on aircraft components in accordance with FAA and company standards

    + Execute bench work in the Structures Backshop, focusing on flight controls and structural assemblies

    + Operate within a Part 145 MRO environment in the Commercial Hangar, servicing corporate jets and general aviation aircraft

    + Conduct C and D Checks on Dornier 328 aircraft in the Government Hangar, with a focus on corrosion inspection and repair

    + Utilize a variety of sheet metal fasteners including button head rivets, countersunk rivets, blind rivets, CherryMAX rivets, Hi-Loks, Hi-lites, and bolts

    + Perform tasks such as riveting, drilling, countersinking, reaming, cutting, deburring, and trimming with precision and attention to detail

    Required Skills and Experience

    + Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in aircraft structural repair, maintenance, or modification

    + Proficiency in sheet metal fabrication and structural assembly techniques

    + Ownership of a basic set of tools suitable for aircraft structural work

    + Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and maintenance documentation

    + Familiarity with FAA regulations and MRO procedures

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Experience in heavy maintenance environments

    + Prior work on Dornier 328 or similar aircraft platforms

    + Strong understanding of corrosion control and structural integrity standards

     

    Work Environment

     

    Technicians will work in climate-controlled, FAA-regulated hangars designed for safety and efficiency. The schedule offers a consistent four-day work week, with opportunities for overtime. The workplace maintains a casual dress code and a collaborative atmosphere.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
