Welder **DIRECT HIRE**

Job Description

This position involves production MIG welding on mild steel, utilizing jigs and fixtures. You will work from work orders, setting up jigs and fixtures according to prints, and welding a high volume of frames in various positions such as flat and overhead.

Train on 1st shift for 3-4 weeks before moving to 2nd shift. $28 + $1.75.hr 2nd shift differential = $30/hr. Open to tech students or graduates

Responsibilities

+ Perform MIG welding on mild steel using jigs and fixtures.

+ Read and interpret work orders and blueprints to set up jigs and fixtures.

+ Weld frames accurately in various positions including flat and overhead.

+ Ensure measurements and welds meet blueprint specifications to maintain product quality.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with MIG welding and blueprint reading is preferred

+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements.

+ Self-motivation and the desire to advance to a fitter welding position.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $60000.00/yr.
