    Job Title: Equipment Operator

    Job Description

    Join our team as an Equipment Operator, where you will be responsible for running front end loader and general laborer work. You will ensure the safe, efficient, and quality-conscious unloading and loading of bulk and packaged commodities to or from barges, railcars, trucks, and storage facilities. As an entry-level position, you will work under the close supervision of a lead operator or supervisor. You will be assigned specific duties in warehousing and may be tasked with general duties in all areas of operations of the terminals. The role involves extensive training in railcar, truck, warehousing, bagging, vessel operations, safety, and environmental protocols. You will also assist in bulk material transfer, bagging, storage, general maintenance, and housekeeping activities.

     

    Shift

     

    Monday - Friday (Must be able to work OT)

    7AM - 3PM

    Responsibilities

    + Operate forklifts and perform general labor duties.

    + Safely load and unload bulk and packaged commodities.

    + Consistently meet or exceed supervisor and company standards.

    + Assist in bulk material transfer, bagging, and storage.

    + Participate in general maintenance and housekeeping activities.

    Qualifications

    + Experience operating a front end loader for at least 2 years.

    + Knowledge in operating front-end loaders.

    + Basic understanding of warehousing operations.

    + Must be able to work OT during the week and weekends as needed.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with mini excavators or cranes is highly desirable.

    + Experience in excavation, construction, and heavy equipment operation.

    + Knowledge of using excavators, dozers, backhoes, skid steers, and other heavy equipment.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Palmetto, Florida.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
