Job Title: Production Helper
Job Description
In this role, you will be responsible for material handling, machine operation, packaging, and labeling of finished products. You will prepare products for shipping and assist in setting up and operating automated production machinery. This machinery is used to apply a weatherizing solution to large paper rolls for use in wrapping concrete forms in the construction industry. Additional duties include shop cleanup, general shop assistance, and operating a forklift to move materials.
Responsibilities
+ Handle materials and operate machines efficiently.
+ Package and label finished products accurately.
+ Prepare products for shipment.
+ Assist in setting up and operating automated production machinery.
+ Perform shop cleanup and general shop assistance.
+ Operate a forklift to move materials safely.
Essential Skills
+ Experience operating a forklift.
+ Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
+ Proficiency with machine operation.
+ Skills in materials handling.
+ Comfortable using hand and power tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in manufacturing or warehouse settings is preferred.
+ Open to candidates with the right attitude and willingness to work in an industrial environment.
+ Previous experience in a similar role is highly preferred.

Work Environment
Work in an industrial manufacturing setting with heavy machinery. Employees must wear personal protective equipment, including safety shoes, hard hats, earplugs, and safety glasses. The work schedule rotates every 8 weeks between day, swing, and night shifts: Day (6:45AM – 3:00PM), Swing (2:45PM – 11:00PM), and Night (10:45PM – 7:00AM).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of PORTLAND, Oregon.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.80 - $24.80/hr.
