Job Title: Mechatronics & Robotics Technician

Job Description

The Mechatronics & Robotics Technician (MRT) is tasked with ensuring the optimal performance and maintenance of material handling equipment. This role involves installing, inspecting, repairing, and maintaining various systems such as conveyors, completing preventive maintenance routines, and managing work orders within a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).

Responsibilities

+ Install, inspect, repair, and maintain material handling equipment, such as conveyors.

+ Complete preventive maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures.

+ Perform battery changes and preventive maintenance on batteries.

+ Enter downtime data in daily logs and complete preventive maintenance sheets.

+ Manage work orders within a CMMS.

+ Possess electrical knowledge of basic components.

+ Troubleshoot and identify problems with equipment.

+ Track and store the department's inventory, including spare parts.

Essential Skills

+ 2+ years of experience in quality predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.

+ 2+ years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment or automated conveyor systems and controls.

+ 2+ years of experience in blueprint and electrical schematic reading.

+ 2+ years of knowledge with electrical and electronic principles.

+ 2+ years of experience following and demonstrating safety standards.

+ 1+ year of experience in troubleshooting and diagnostics of material handling equipment systems.

+ 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.

+ High school diploma or equivalent.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in Distribution, Logistics, Manufacturing, or Industrial industries performing maintenance on complex systems and industrial equipment.

+ Experience with automated conveyor systems, controls, and robotics.

+ Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.

+ Experience with PLC-based control systems.

+ Experience with robotic operation and maintenance.

+ Continuous improvement mindset.

+ Experience with MHE safety standards in accordance with OEM and safety standards.

+ Associate's or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field.

+ 2+ years of apprenticeship or equivalent experience in the Mechanical or Electrical field.

Work Environment

Open availability for any 10-hour shift is required, with positions available across all shifts.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr.
