Job Title: Environmental Scientist

Job Description

Join our team as an Environmental Scientist providing industrial hygiene services for a construction project in South Lake Union. This entry-level role is perfect for those with experience in environmental science, biology, industrial hygiene, or chemistry, who have a keen interest in air quality and chemical monitoring.

Responsibilities

+ Conduct industrial hygiene assessments for the construction project.

+ Utilize environmental science and hazmat expertise to ensure safety and compliance.

+ Prepare technical reports detailing findings and recommendations.

+ Monitor air quality and conduct chemical monitoring as required.

Essential Skills

+ 40 HR Hazardous Waste Operators License/Hazwoper

+ Strong understanding of environmental and geological principles

+ Proficient in technical report writing

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Decision making skills and critical thinking

+ Assertiveness and ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences

+ Experience on construction sites is preferred

Work Environment

This role is 95% field-based at the construction site, requiring daily clean-shaven grooming for respirator use. Work involves active participation in a dynamic construction environment, focusing on safety and environmental compliance.

Pay and Benefits
