Maintenance Electrician – 2nd and 3rd Shift | Crystal Lake, IL

Are you a skilled Maintenance Electrician looking for a stable, long-term opportunity with great pay and room to grow? We’re hiring for a 3rd shift role in Crystal Lake, IL, where your expertise will keep our industrial operations running smoothly and safely.

What You’ll Be Doing

+ Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues in industrial equipment

+ Perform preventive maintenance on motors, pumps, drives, relays, and more

+ Troubleshoot PLCs, CNCs, PCs, and electronic control systems

+ Install and repair electrical systems including conduit, breaker panels, and controls

+ Maintain detailed logs of equipment performance, repairs, and calibrations

+ Ensure all work meets National Electrical Code standards

What You Bring

+ 5+ years of experience as a Maintenance Electrician in an industrial setting

+ Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, and 3-phase power systems

+ Ability to read and troubleshoot electrical schematics and blueprints

+ Experience with Fanuc and Siemens controls preferred

+ Familiarity with arc flash safety and high-voltage systems

+ Skilled in running conduit and wiring starters, motors, and control panels

Work Environment & Schedule

+ Clean, well-lit facility (not temperature controlled)

+ 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 2 PM - 10 PM

+ 3rd Shift: Sunday–Thursday, 10 PM – 6 AM

+ Weekend work and overtime available
