Job Title: Manufacturing Technician
Job Description
The Process Associate III will collaborate with other production team members in an assigned production area to achieve production schedules in accordance with quality, cost, delivery, technical, and safety standards. This role involves multiple hands-on tasks that are essential to the daily operations.
Responsibilities
+ Perform mechanical assembly, potting, and soldering applications.
+ Assemble products according to technical drawings, specifications, and blueprints.
+ Conduct product testing using specialized equipment such as electronic volt meters and helium leak test equipment.
+ Set up and program equipment including laser beam welders.
+ Follow process procedures for all aspects of cell manufacture and assembly.
+ Operate specialized equipment such as winders, wrappers, filling systems, and more.
+ Conduct product quality self-inspections.
+ Maintain computer-generated documentation and records.
+ Work safely with chemical compounds.
+ Handle delicate materials and perform repetitive work with small parts under magnification.
+ Use hand and power tools, fixtures, and molds.
+ Contribute in both team and individual environments with flexibility.
Essential Skills
+ High School Diploma or GED.
+ Ability to work overtime or alternate schedules as needed.
+ Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
+ Basic computer and math skills.
+ Excellent attendance and reliability.
+ Attention to detail and practice good housekeeping.
+ Ability to meet deadlines and perform well under pressure.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Electromechanical experience on the assembly side.
+ Familiarity with blueprints and technical drawings.
+ Capability to handle delicate and hazardous materials safely.

Work Environment
Work in a feedback-friendly environment where open communication is encouraged. The facility operates on a first shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday. The work requires the ability to stand for long periods and work in extremely dry environments while wearing clean-room gear. The facility is a low volume but high precision environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of East Greenwich, Rhode Island.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
